Brother have updated their range of Multi Function printers/copiers/scanners/fax machines with 10 new offerings. Featuring impressive print speeds up to 30 PPM (Pages Per Minute) in mono and 25PPM in colour and utilising individual ink cartridges for minimum printing expense they come in two distinct flavours, the DCP series without a fax built in and the MFC series which come complete with fax functions.

We are stocking the ink cartridges for the new machines as follows:

• Brother DCP135C uses the new low usage LC970 Series of ink cartridges and prints at up to 25PPM in mono and 20PPM in colour, also allows you to print directly from USB Memory stick.

Brother UK are excited to announce the introduction of their new range of colour inkjet multifunction printes (MFP). The range comprises ten multifunction machines; ideal for home and home office users as well as business use, the new inkjet range has a number of innovative design fearures that make them discrete and unobtrusive, theth the smallest possible footprint.

All models are sleek, stylish and compact; providing you with head office printing technology in the home office. Some notable features are:-

• Paper is fed through from a tray located underneath the machine, removing the need for an external tray and reducing the virtual footprint. In addition all cables fit inside or parallel to the machines, allowing them to fit flush against a wall or any other surface and saving even more space.
• As with all Brother inkjets, the new range uses individual ink cartridges, reducing waste by allowing colours to be replaced one at a time as they run out. These are accessed from the front of the machine, putting an end to time spend fiddling with awkwardly placed cartridges. This range also sees the introduction of new lower cost/lower yield cartridges in the entry models for lower volume print users.
• Other notable features include Brother’s unique wide LCD screen, free face filter software enabling photos to be enhanced and viewed prior to printing and all models feature one year on-site warranty as standard (upon registration).

  Featurs such as these, coupled with impressive print speeds (up to 30mono/25 colour ppm) and proven reliablitly, make this new inkjet range a strong contender in this marketplace.

After an intensive period of global research and development, Brother are unveiling their new range of Laser Printers and Multifunction Printers (MFP’s). The Line up consists of seven new machines (three printers and four MFP’s), which can print colour documents at mono speeds (up to 20ppm); this is thanks to the use of single pass technology. The range aims to address many issues that business owners’ face today - hours are long, business pressures are mounting and competition is rampant. The new range of MFP’s can boot productivity, reduce costs, allow process review and contribut to happier staff - in short business owners can ‘revolutionise’ the way they work by buying a Brother colour solutions.

The product range is packed with a host of innnovative features which occupy a smaller desktop footprint than competitor models:

• Taking the maxim ‘time is money’ one step further, offering high speeds at low costs in a bid to increase business efficiency and lower long-term costs.
• The range freature some highly innovative functions, offering the only single pass colour laser MFP to print double-sided and the only colour laser machines with built-in wireless technology
• Brothers new colour laser models are the first devices to support Secure Socket Layer (SSL) application, which prevents hacking and allows sensitive documents to be printed securely via a network. SSL is already widely used in e-commerce to protect customer information such as credit card details. This is the first time this techology has been used to provide a truly secure printer.
• Both the new printer and MFP models are equipped with a direct print from USB feature, enabling PDF’s, TIFF’s, JPEG’s and PRN files to be printed without a PC and the MFP’s also allow users to scan direct to USB Memory Stick - ideal for proffesionals on the move. In addition, the new machines support the PictBridge feature, allowing users to connect a digital camera direct to the device via a USB port and one year on-site warranty as standard (upon registration).

The Range of Colour Laser printers is:

The MFP’s are divided into two families, the DCP9040CN and DCP9045CDN witout Fax capability and the MFC9440CN and MFC9840CDW which incorporate fax as well.

• Brother DCP9040CN. Is a full colour Network ready Multi-Function printer. Boasting print speeds up to 20ppm in colour and mono with 2,400 x 600 dpi resolution the printer comes with 64Mb or 128Mb which is expandable up to 640Mb, copies up to 99 multi-copies with stack and sort funcitons 2 in 1 and 4 in 1 copying and poster printing and allows hi-res colour scanning with up to 19,200 dpi interpolated resolution, 48 bit colour depth and is Twain/WIA compliant
• Brother DCP9045CDN also includes all of the above with the addition of Auto Duplexing, USB Memory slot and Pictbridge and has an optional lower tray
• Brother MFC9440CN includes super G3 colour faxing, is network ready and includes USB Memory Slot and Pictbridge.
• Brother MFC9840CDW is to of the range in Colour Laser printing/scanning/copying/faxing. Complete with full auto Duplex it also has Wireless connectivity and includes iFax and LDAP
