New Fax machines released by Philips

Sunday, May 27th, 2007

Philips have released two new fax machines to replace the existing magic3 plain paper fax machines which use the PFA331 fax ribbon and also the Faxjet machines.

The Magic5 is the latest TTR (Thermal Transfer Ribbon) machine and uses the PFA351 Ribbon. We really like these TTR machines, you know exactly what your cost per page is and also exactly how many pages you are going to get out of the machines befor they run out. They are brilliant for home or small offices, but probably not so good for busier enviroments, which is where the Faxjet machines drop into the equation.

Here at Stinkyink Towers we have now moved onto a Colour Laser Multifunction machine, which gives us copy, scan, fax and print facilities all in one machine which is very efficient - mind you we do have more printers that people here these days!.

Thermal Transfer Ribbons

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

Thermal Transfer is a printing process in which heat transfers carbon ink from a ribbon onto plain paper. Thermal transfer means your cost per copy is fixed and can therefore be more manageable.

Our premium compatible fax film rolls are manufactured to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) quality and performance standards and provide the same page output as original film rolls.

They replace original fax ribbons and deliver the same expected high quality results, in fact when compared to the originals these compatibles are very hard to tell apart, except for the price of course.

If you are using a fax machine at home, then these machines are for you. You know that they will print exactly 120+ pages, they will not dry out and the cost per page is fixed. Compare that to a typical BT fax machine, whose cartridges will dry out if they are not used regularly and whose consumables costs are extortionate!(in my personal opinion).

At Stinkyink we stock both Manufacturers original and compatible fax ribbons for Brother, Philips, Panasonic and Sharp Fax Machines.
