Epson getting over their IP Disputes?
Have Epson given up in their long running war with the third party ink cartridge manufacturers and turned to technology instead?. All new printers launched by Epson since April 2007 using original Epson ink have come out with revised technology on the cartridge chips which means that the compatible ink cartridges released before April no longer work in the new printers. The compatible guys are working hard to come up with a universal solution which will work with the new printers, but the compatible epson ink cartridges used in the Stylus D92 for instance still do not work although the original T0711 / 712 / 713 and 714 are widely used in a large range of printers and Multi Function devices.
We live in interesting times!
