Lexmark evercolor2 ink is water-resistant, and has increased resistance against fading and the smudging associated with highlighter pens. When evercolor2 inks are printed on Lexmark PerfectFinish™ paper your photos can last up to 100 years in normal display conditions and up to 200 years stored in photo albums.* With Lexmark evercolor2 inks you can achieve vibrant, resilient results.
Tips for Optimal Print Quality
- Loading the paper
» Avoid touching or scratching the glossy surface of the unprinted paper to prevent smudges, marks, or oil damage from your skin. - Printing photos
» Use Lexmark PerfectFinish paper at the following conditions: 20-30° C (68-86° F) and 30-70% relative humidity. For best results, use this paper at 20-25° C (68-77° F) and 40-60% relative humidity.
» To prevent smudging or scratching, avoid touching the printed surface with your fingers or sharp objects.
» For best results, remove each printed sheet individually from the paper exit tray, and allow the prints to dry at least 24 hours before stacking, displaying, or storing. - Storing and displaying photos
» Allow photos to dry at least 24 hours before stacking, displaying, or storing.
» Display or store indoors avoiding moisture, direct sunlight, bright lights, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
» To minimize fading, display photos in photo albums, scrapbooks with page protectors, or glass frames. - Storing unused paper
» Store unused paper in the original packaging away from sunlight, in a cool, dry place.
