HP Launches small desktop laser printer
Just launched in the UK by HP is the P1005 Mono Laser printer. Claimed to take up the same amount of desk space as a 15.4 inch Notebook this printer measures 34.7cm x 22.4cm x 19.4cm and weighs in at 4.7Kg. A 133Mhz processor and 2Mb of RAM standard means that you can print at up to 14 PPM with a first page out speed of 8.5 seconds from PowerSave mode. The printer is on sale at around £80 and takes the CB435A (35A) Black toner cartridge which gives a 1500 page yield at 5% coverage and should cost around £39.00
